Let me set the stage: Earlier this year, Louisville Makes Games and Warp Zone faced an existential crisis. The building in which Warp Zone resided was sold out from under us and then the new owner kicked us out with very little notice.

Louisville Makes Games Community

Louisville Makes Games (LMG) is an inclusive community created to connect and support anyone in the Louisville, Kentucky area who wants to create games! The main ways to get involved are to join our discord server or attend a meetup event!

A monthly virtual meetup to connect local Louisville area game developers and those who want to learn! It will always be free and open to anyone interested in creativity and collaboration.

We are a non-profit 501(c)3 organization committed to supporting game creators in and around our city. We believe that games ought to be made from the bottom-up, and by people from all kinds of backgrounds. Through our classes for kids, expert talks, art gallery showcases, game jams, workshops, and collaborations with local cultural institutions we aim to provide creative people of all stripes the opportunity and space to make games.

Our core project is Warp Zone Louisville, a physical space which we have made a home-base for all game creators in Louisville.

What is Warp Zone?

Warp Zone Louisville is a coworking space for anyone doing creative work! It is also the home base of LMG and where we host our events. All LMG events are free and open to the public, but you can work from Warp Zone Louisville 24/7 if you become a paid member.
